Hey everyone! It’s so good to be back! I took a few (unplanned) weeks off because, well, life. Last year was an extremely difficult year. And that is probably a gross understatement. In one year’s time, I had a beautiful baby, suffered from postpartum depression, watched my nephew (who I am very, very close with) be diagnosed with bone cancer, go through chemo, and undergo a surgery that required removing part of his leg, and I was in a fairly substantial car accident that required 6-7 doctor appointments every week for three months in order for me to fully recover.Continue Reading

Hello, friends! I thought that on the last Friday of every month I would just share a few things that I really love and have been making me happy that month. You know, just to give you a little insight into what I enjoy and my daily life. So welcome to the first installation of Friday Favorites!!
When I found out we were having a little girl the second time around, I was elated! You have no idea how much I hoped to have a little girl. I am a girly-girl (clearly, since I love to talk about fashion 😉 ) and I couldn’t wait to be able to pass some of that down to my daughter. I think that being a girly-girl can sometimes be taken as negative, but I’ve learned that it is possible to be girly and strong all at the same time. So today I wanted to make a list of things I want my daughter to know.
